This is a critical situation. Black has already centralized his rooks, White
cannot wait any longer and play very active or Black will cross the border

defending f5 and so preventing the advantage e6-e5 and provoking a further
weakening of the kingside!} 15... Bxf3 16. Qxf3 g6 {Indeed Black can only find

putting his knight on the strong square d5, and doubling rooks on the e-file
with still the continuation of e6-e5 in mind. The White strategy is also clear
with a safer kingposition, the bishop-pair and a second front attack he will
strike when the iron is hot!} 21. a4 $1 Nd5 22. b5 Rde8 23. Bb3 Kf8 24. b6 $6 {

Welcome to the forum!
I've put these games up here, here, here, here, and here.

I noticed a willingness to go in for Q-side play in your games. I think that is something a lot of players either are timid about or have poor timing-sense on.

I was happy to see a Greek Gift [and happy to see it fell into one of the three general classes of N/e5 sacs I outline in TMoZ and Bxh7.

I'll try to comment on a couple of these games later but was hoping some other members would throw in their two cents after viewing them.

RE: New kid on the block from Holland
Hello Ton, welcome to the Forum- you will like it here I am sure.
I have just started to play through your games and I would like to ask a question.

Ahhh, actually I don't need to ask the question as I worked out the answer while checking I had asked the question properly!
Anyway, thanks for the games and for making me think a bit. I haven't been able to play much this year so I needed the exercise. (That is probably clear from the rambling nature of this message!)
Welcome once again and don't worry, most of the contributions will make more sense than this one....

RE: New kid on the block from Holland
WOOHOO the not-quite-sound-but-still-fun attack I proposed in the first edition!

Now, in the new edition, I call this the "Blitzkrieg" option.
